Job Title – Associate Director, S/4HANA Data Transformation – Data Quality &Analysis Finance (Global S4Hana Programme)
Location –Lisbon, Portugal

About the role:
The Associate Director, S/4 HANA Data Transformation – Data Quality & Analysis Financeis responsible forthe delivery of data quality activities and remediation within the S/4 programme. This role is aligned with the Finance organization and supports:
Data Cleansing, Harmonization and Readiness: define scope and guidelines for SAP ECC Data Cleansing aligned with Data Design Definitions and Standards and Data Migration Relevancy.
Reconcile Data between SAP ECC (pre-migration) and SAP S/4HANA (post-migration) clients: design, specify and execute data reconciliation reports on the finance and controlling domain to ensure not only data migration completeness but also accuracy.
S/4HANA Data Quality Framework: defining and implementing the data quality framework needed to ensure that S/4 data remains fit for purpose post-deployment and can continue to be used with confidence.
Typical Accountabilities
Partner with Data Design teams in defining data standards through analysis of existing SAP ECC data sets.
Enhance SAP ECC data quality at source to ensure smooth S/4HANA migration.
Scope and implement targeted data cleansing activities for migration readiness.
Contribute to ECC Cleanse and S/4 Migration strategies and delivery plans.
Assist in defining data profiling requirements and provide business interpretation of profiling outputs, including data reconciliation.
Identify, document, and resolve data quality issues and problem statements.
Support impact assessments, design, and management of interim state reporting navigating through the split system landscape of partial S/4HANA and ECC deployment.
Oversee data quality issue management.
Drive the development and execution of the Finance S/4 Data Quality strategy and roadmap.
Define data quality requirements, metrics, and processes for measuring and reporting across S/4 data objects.
Build a sustainable data quality framework for ongoing monitoring and remediation.
Ensure alignment with S/4 Data Governance framework and drive governance strategy.
Embed ongoing data quality (“keep clean”) measures into business-as-usual processes.
Essential for the role
Working and implementation experience SAP ECC Modules – Finance and Controlling, including Data Migration activities.
Experienced in SAP Data Migration processes and tools.
Functional experience in data quality management including data quality rules, data quality reporting, issue management and issue remediation.
Knowledge of data quality management principles and practices (including data profiling, data discovery, root cause analysis, designing and implementing automated DQ solutions).
Good understanding of Master Data Management and Reference Data Management.
Ability to work with business users to elicit and formally define their requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to lead conflicting priorities.
Ability to lead in a diverse, global team, within and across functions. Experience with global working and across cultures.
Applying leading edge data quality enhancement capabilities covering profiling, analysis, migration, cleanse to land step-change in data quality.
Managing complex data quality analysis and improvement projects.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives
Lead and manage negotiations across a complex group, to a target outcome.
Proven track record of delivery and ability to effectively prioritise to ensure goals and outcomes are achieved.
Desirable for the role
S/4 HANA implementation programme experience.
Deep knowledge of Finance and Controlling business processes, SAP transactions and reporting and their connection with data and data flows.
Understanding of data concepts and experience in data management capabilities including data lineage, data definitions and data governance.
Understanding of and or experience in other data related capabilities including data architecture, data analytics, data modelling, self-assessment, policy assurance, quality assurance and control testing.
Experience in Data Governance.
Experience with data management tools.
Background in life sciences and healthcare.
Proven experience partnering with Business and IT for Data Governance initiatives.
Knowledge of ETL, SQL and SAP ADM by Syniti.
Working knowledge of SAP ECC Project System modules.
Working knowledge of SAP ECC Sales & Distribution modules.
Working knowledge of SAP Business Partners.
Working knowledge of integration between SAP ECC Logistics and Financial modules.
